Most designers who are selling websites to their clients using SiteWyze as their web development provider do not want the hassle of worrying about server setup, configuration, maintenance, and technical support. This is one of the reasons why our Instant Edit™ CMS is designed to be hosted on our servers. It allows us to ensure the website and CMS is working properly with the right server software and configuration and allows us to provide technical support to all our clients regardless of their level of knowledge in the field.
Although we require hosting is done through us, as an authorized SiteWyze reseller you will be charged the discounted reseller hosting fee that you have the option to markup. In the long term this will allow you to build up residual income from hosting fees from your clients.
Your clients will also be given the option to host either both their site and emails, or just their site on our servers.
Website hosting is a very important part of being a website developer - or seller of website solutions. There are some very standard features and items that your clients will be looking for when it comes to reliable website hosting:

- Email Accounts: While your client's hosting package will pre-determine the number of emails accounts that they have, this number is flexible, and there is always more available. Simply send us an email request and we will respond with a confirmation of the username and password for each added email account.
- Webmail: We offer a very user-friendly standard webmail system, accessed easily at clientdomain.com/webmail. This is handy for when your clients are away from their office or on the road and need to access their work emails.
- Site Backups: Our servers are set to do automatic back-ups every day with a 15 day retention. So worst case scenario if your client's site suddenly 'breaks', we can quickly restore the site to it's previous version.
- Bandwidth: Just as with email accounts, your client's hosting package will pre-determine the amount of bandwidth that comes standard. This number is also flexible, and there is always more bandwidth available depending on what your client needs. Most sites fall within the standard limits, but some high volume sites require more. You can discuss additional bandwidth costs with your SiteWyze representative.
- Security: Our servers are completely secure and are powered by the latest multi-layered software and hardware firewalls to prevent malicious attacks against the server. If your client requires additional security for e-commerce or sensitive data transfers, then we recommend having our technicians install a SSL certificate for your client's website domain.
- Technical Support: We have experience with the many potential issues that can arise when hosting emails and websites on a server. Our developers have been dealing with technical support for years and are there to deal with these when they arise, in a timely fashion.
In addition, we are constantly monitoring our servers' performance and integrity to ensure your client's sites are up and running efficiently at all times.
